Welcome!
The beginning of 1st grade can be exciting and very tiring! I know from personal experience and stories from other parents that sometimes getting back into the flow of being in school all day can be challenging. If your child's mood seems to have changed, it may just be that they are tired. Establishing a regular and early bedtime may help.
Volunteering

Homework
Homework is given at the beginning of the week and is to be turned in at the end of the week. Students are expected to read 10 minutes a day and complete a math worksheet which deals with number sense or basic math facts. Your child may turn in homework for credit as late as the following week.
Our goal as a first grade team is for your child to establish a daily routine at home that should take no longer than 20 minutes a night.
